日本留学を心待ちにしていた留学生の皆さまへ

新型コロナウイルス感染症については、各国・地域において感染者数が増加し、オミクロン株への緊急避難的な措置として、予防的な観点から、留学生を含む、外国人の皆さまの日本への入国については、当面の間は停止とされています。日本で学ぶことを心待ちにしており、ようやく入国の目途が見え始めた矢先に、急遽皆さまの入国が叶わなくなったことは、大変残念に思います。

みなさんは、チーム九工大の大切なメンバーです。
みなさんが実際にキャンパスに来られるまで、まだしばらく時間がかかる見通しですが、今後、日本政府の水際対策に新たな動きがあった場合には、みなさんが所属する部局を通じて、すみやかに情報提供いたしますので、今は引き続きオンラインでの勉学に励み、渡日の準備をしてください。

みなさんに、九州工業大学のキャンパスで会える日を心待ちにしております。

Dear International Students waiting to enter Japan

As an emergency preventive measure against the Omicron COVID-19 variant, since November 29th, the entry into Japan of all new foreign nationals, including international students, has been suspended for the time being. We know you have been eagerly looking forward to studying in Japan. Therefore, we truly find it regrettable that you are not able to come to Kyutech just when it began to appear that you would finally be allowed to enter Japan.

You are an integral part of ‘Team Kyutech’.
It is likely to take more time before we can see you on our campuses. If there are any changes in the border enforcement measure set by the government, we will inform you through the staff of your faculty. Please continue with your study and research through online while preparing for your new life in Japan.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you here in Fukuoka.
