Fellow title of The Robotics Society of Japan awarded to Kyutech faculty member

On 9 September 2021, Prof. Tomohiro Shibata, Department of Human Intelligence Systems, Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering, was awarded the title of Fellow by The Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ), at the 39th annual conference of the Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ2021) held online.

The title was given in recognition of his contributions to learning robotics, and its application to assistive robotics, and to the management of the Society.
The RSJ awarded five Fellow titles this year.
