Mr. Takuya Fujinaga, Department of Life Science and Systems Engineering, Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering, received SICE International Young Authors Award (SIYA) in 2021 IEEE/SICE International Symposium on System Integration (SII 2021) for his presentation entitled "Development and Evaluation of a Tomato Fruit Suction Cutting Device".

SICE established the SIYA to encourage young researchers from Japan to carry out academic research and to support their international activities.
