On September 8, the City College of New York (CCNY) and Kyutech held a joint workshop “Robotics and Computer Science: toward continued collaboration between CCNY and Kyutech” at CCNY.

CCNY and Kyutech have been working on student mobility programs and faculty exchanges since 2014, and have agreed to a partnership for academic exchanges in 2016. This workshop was planned and held mainly by Department of Computer Science, the Grove School of Engineering of CCNY and School of Computer Science and Systems Engineering of Kyutech, aiming to explore the possibilities of application of computer science technology to robotics and the collaborations between both universities.

The workshop consists of the oral presentations by 10 researchers from both universities, 2 keynote speeches, one guest speech, and poster session by the students. The second workshop will be held next July at Kyutech.
