Kyutech welcomes 7 participants from Indian universities for the JST Sakura Science Exchange Program

Kyutech invited 7 participants from partner universities in India (2 students and 1 Professor from Amity University Noida, 2 students from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), 2 students from Ashoka University) from July 22 to August 11, 2026, under the JST SAKURA Science Exchange Program.
Under the theme of “Development of Spintronics-Based Neuromorphic Hardware”, the participants performed device fabrication in a clean room and its evaluation at Kyutech. They also had a research exchange program with Yamaguchi University, and toured Fukuoka, Kitakyushu and Hiroshima.
The faculty members and students at the Iizuka Campus, discussed practical experiences and laboratory measurements with the participants, and also joined them for Japanese cultural visits.

The program concluded with valuable memories for Kyutech and also the partner universities.
