Kyutech Welcomes the Delegation from the Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador

On November 20, 2025, H.E. Mr. César Montaño H., Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador to Japan, visited Kyutech’s Tobata Campus.

The Ambassador first paid a courtesy visit to President Yasunori Mitani, during which they exchanged views on Kyutech’s international education and research activities in a friendly atmosphere.
He then visited the Laboratory of Lean Satellite Enterprises and In-Orbit Experiments (LaSEINE), where Prof. Kentaro Kitamura, Director of the laboratory, provided an overview of the current status and achievements of Kyutech’s international collaborations in the field of CubeSat development. Following the briefing, the Ambassador toured the facilities.

The meeting was also attended by Prof. Tohru Kamiya, Vice President (for Office of International Strategic Partnerships and Advanced Research Headquarters), and Prof. Kentaro Kitamura.
The participants actively discussed concrete proposals and ideas to further expand and enhance international collaboration between Kyutech and Ecuador.

Both parties confirmed their commitment to advancing cooperation in academic exchange and in the fields of education and research.
