Faculty from Thaksin University in Thailand visited the Smart Life Care Co-creation Lab

Update:2024.03.06

On February 28, 2024, Prof. Tsujii of University of Kitakyushu took a group of faculty members from Thaksin University Phatthalung Campus in Thailand, invited by the Sakura Science Program of JST, to the Smart Life Care Co-creation Lab.

Prof. Shibata and his students (Department of Human Intelligence Systems, Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering) introduced the lab to them.
They found it very interesting as Thailand also has an ageing population.

They were also very impressed that Kitakyushu Science and Research Park is the only place in Japan where Kyushu Institute of Technology (national), University of Kitakyushu (municipal), and Waseda University (private) are all located in one place.

Although the main purpose of the Smart Life Care Co-Creation is nursing care innovation, we will continue to aim to make it as open a place for education and co-creation as possible.
