Trainees of JICA Kyushu visited Shibata lab at Wakamatsu Campus

Update:2024.02.27

On February 19, 2024, trainees of JICA Kyushu visited Prof. Tomohiro Shibata and his students (Department of Human Intelligence Systems, Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering) at Wakamatsu Campus of Kyushu Institute of Technology and the Smart Life Care Co-creation Lab.

Training was conducted for them by being requested again by JICA Kyushu following last year.

Although it was raining, Prof. Shibata gave a lecture at the Kyushu Institute of Technology Wakamatsu Campus, followed by a tour of the entire Kitakyushu Science & Research Park on the 7th floor.
After the participants observed and experienced the dressing assistance robot, they moved to the Smart Life Care Co-Creation Lab to visit the measurement and evaluation zone and the prototype development zone, where they were able to experience some robots.
The participants were very interested in the event and engaged in a lively question-and-answer session.

Some suggested that it would be good to exchange information on a global platform for nursing care innovation.
