Kyutech conducts joint online presentation with KMUTNB and KMITL

Kyutech conducted an online presentation on "Robotics PBL Collaborative Practice and Curriculum development through Student Exchange" on November 24, 2023, under Sakura Science Exchange Program sponsored by JST.

The purpose of this program is to educate the third-year students in the Department of Intelligent and Control Systems who are taking PBL classes in the GE course by providing the opportunity to interact with excellent students from overseas in cooperation with the partner universities in Asia in order to develop human resources who can lead the diverse society and future by acquiring new technological perspectives and vision.

8 students from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB, Thailand), 6 students from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL, Thailand), 16 third-year students from the Department of Intelligent and Control Systems and 5 Teaching Assistants (TA) from Kyutech participated in the project.The teams are divided into five, each consisting of 3-4 students from Kyutech, 2-3 students from KMUTNB and KMITL, and 1 TA.

In September 2023, 13 Kyutech students visited KMUTNB and KMITL to meet with Thai students. They deepened their team awareness through various activities and have been working on robot production for competitions and final presentations using Zoom every week since October.

The Thai students will visit Kyutech from January 21 to 27, 2024 to participate in a competition at the Iizuka campus on January 26 with robots produced by each team and to experience Japanese culture.
