Field Trip 2023 for International Students

Update:2023.12.01

On November 16th, Kyutech international students of three campuses had a field trip.
The field trip was held for the first time in 4 years due to Covid-19. They visited the orange grove for Mikan(Jpanese orange) picking in Munakata City and the Miyajidake Shrine in Fukutsu City.
A total of 40 international students from 18 countries participated in this trip. They spent time on the bus listening to the Kyutech staff explain where they were visiting, and talking with others to deepen their friendships.
At the orange grove, firstly the students tasted Mikans. After an explanation by the farm staff, they walked around the grove to get as many delicious Mikans as possible. They were satisfied with getting many Mikans.
The group visited Miyajidake Shrine, where they took a group photo with the famous "The Road of Light",which runs in a direct line from the Miyajihama coast to the steps leading up to Miyajidake Shrine, and then took a free walk.
They enjoyed taking pictures, worshipping, and drawing an 'omikuji' fortune slip.
It would be rainy according to the weather forecast, but they didn't get caught in the rain until the end.
Through Mikan picking and visiting Miyajidake Shrine, they learned about Japanese unique culture, and had a great time throughout the trip.
