Kyutech welcomes 5 participants from Egypt for JST Sakura Science Exchange Program

Update:2023.10.06

Kyutech invited 1 faculty member and 4 students from Ain Shams University in Egypt to deepen international exchange through joint research, from September 5 to 14, 2023, under the SAKURA Science Exchange Program sponsored by JST.

The program included joint research, cross-cultural exchange, tour of research facilities, research presentations, and laboratory visits at the Wakamatsu and Iizuka campuses. During the program, the students participated in a symposium hosted by the Research Center of Synthetic Biology of Kyutech, where they presented their research and deepened the exchange with the participants.

Through a series of activities, the students were able to interact with each other and experience each other's research environments and cultural differences, making this a very meaningful activity. In the future, we will continue to strengthen the relationship between the universities and lead to the development of joint research.
