Kyutech delegate attends 75th anniversary celebrations of National Univervsity of Mongolia

Kyutech delegate headed by President OIE visited National University of Mongolia (NUM) on October 5 and 6 to attend the 75th anniversary celebrations at the official invitation of NUM.

During the ceremony, President Dr. Ya TUMURBAATAR of NUM made a congratulatory speech on the remarkable achievement of small satellite development and launches, which are the very first space project missions in Mongolia supported by Kyutech BIRDS Project. At the reception, President OIE received the memorial trophy for the dedicated support and implementation of space engineering education from developing countries through BIRDS Project. Both institutions have agreed upon the promotion of research and educational collaboration in the field of semiconductor for next generation power electronics and systems engineering while further promoting the research collaboration in space engineering.

Also President OIE has lively discussed the possibility of future collaboration with Kyutech graduates, who are being active at the forefront of space engineering and satellite development in Mongolia. They have successfully agreed to establish and utilize the academic educational network between two institutions through the promotion of various joint workshop and research.

Furthermore, Kyutech delegate visited Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) on October 5 with which Kyutech has just started joint research in Robotics field. On this occasion, Kyutech and MUST have both agreed to discuss the possibility of future research collaboration between two institutions.
