All materials are fundamentals for our current advanced technologies and future technological innovation. Chemistry enables us to produce these materials and provides various key technologies for environmental conservation and new energy generation. The Department of Applied Chemistry proffers an education to learn chemical synthesis, physicochemical analysis and industrial production of materials, along with diverse disciplines to cultivate future competent researchers or engineers.
Career Path after Graduation
Graduates work as researchers or engineers of important positions in various companies, mainly in chemical-related manufacturing industries to produce not only organic or inorganic materials but also medical or agricultural chemicals. More than half of the graduates proceed to graduate schools to deepen the knowledge and skills in applied chemistry.
